PODCASTS

When I’m not tweeting for brands or reading a worn paperback, I’m creating, engaging, and podcasting.

Whether it is waking up at 4:00AM to edit audio or traveling to conventions all over the country to talk with creators I admire, I love combining my passions of digital media and pop culture.

TALKING BAY 94: A StAr WARS PODCAST

Like seemingly every Star Wars fan out there, I started a podcast seven years ago.

I wanted to show my love of how these movies were made, while doing my part to preserve the stories, by recording an oral history of people who worked on them.

It’s been hard work and long nights, but nearly 200 episodes later, it has been worth it, cultivating a vibrant social community and hundreds of thousands of listens.

The show features interviews with the cast, crew, and creators of Star Wars, including the winners of over 30 Academy Awards, and spans all movies, TV shows, novels and comics. It has been showcased twice by Apple Podcasts as one of the “Top Star Wars Podcasts”, and I have been recorded several live panels at official Star Wars conventions (including in London and Tokyo).

FANGORIA Podcast Network (producer and host)

During my time at FANGORIA, I helped produce our Podcast Network, which, at its peak, boasted 20 podcasts and 2 million listens since inception date in June 2019, as well as facilitated further acquisitions, talent management, marketing, ad sales and hosting needs.

If there was a major horror podcast on the air, odds are that it was one of ours.

Synergistically, not only did we coordinate our own movie releases with interviews on these shows with directors, actors and SFX artists, but we also worked closely with the editorial team to make sure that all ad buys were reflected in episodes and on social, as well.

In addition to the management of the network, I also was the co-host of The Creepshow Show (a successful after-show for AMC / Shudder’s Creepshow reboot) and FANGORIA Frequencies (a weekly look at one upcoming genre release, typically sponsored by the studio, with corresponding interviews with talent).

You can also find me as a player on the popular Call of Cthulhu RPG play-through podcast, Ain’t Slayed Nobody, as well as a frequent guest on podcasts (some appearances I’m most proud of are listed below):
